You’re smart but
You might be trying to solve the wrong problem
It’s more common than you’d think.

IF you find yourself ruminating and lost in distractions, it might be that
You’re not working on the root cause
But new insights can shift the dynamic.

I’ve worked with a lot of coaches; Ksenia stands out. Her approach is hands-on and genuinely attuned. She doesn’t leave you to figure it out alone—she gets close to the real problem, shows you exactly what to adjust, and stays with you while you do it. It’s practical, detailed, and calming—no buzzwords, just real help. I felt supported in a way I rarely have with coaching.

Of course you could
DIY it with books, podcasts, rabbitholes…
Talk it through with a friend…
See a therapist…
My coaching practice is based on timely, practical support that moves things forward.

I appreciated her ability to challenge the dysfunctional thoughts I might have, while still making me feel heard. I was often surprised by the insights that emerged from the sessions, and how much better I felt afterwards.

FAQs

We’ll have a relaxed conversation over Zoom (up to an hour). You’ll share what’s going on. I’ll ask clarifying questions, explain how I’d approach your situation, and talk about what working together could look like. You can ask anything, and if it feels right, we’ll talk timing and next steps. No prep, no pressure.
After your free consult, most people start this week or next. We’ll pick a start date that fits your calendar.
We can discuss what progress could look like for you during the consult.
Definitely. Sessions are scheduled around your calendar. Travel weeks can be Zoom-from-anywhere, skipped, or shifted. It’s 50 minutes a week—often the hour that saves you hours.
I don’t give required homework because I believe that less is more. You’ll leave each session knowing what you want to focus on and practice. If you want more, I can share tailored resources (optional, always).
I’m based in Vancouver, Canada. We’re on Pacific Time.
If you’re dealing with:
- safety concerns
- a mental health crisis
- trauma that should be unpacked in a therapeutic container
…a licensed therapist or allied professional is the right next step.
But not every hard season is a disorder.
As psychiatrist Samantha Boardman puts it:
Reflexively referring to therapy anyone who is going through a rough patch presumes fragility and pathologizes perfectly normal experiences of being human.
Sadness, worry, discomfort and anxiety are part of life and not necessarily signs of dysfunction. It’s entirely natural to feel overwhelmed—or even bad—at times. It’s evidence that we’re alive and engaged.
If you’re unsure, bring it to a consult. I’ll be honest about whether therapy or coaching makes sense right now.
Because the parts of your life are connected.
We start with the struggle that feels most important. It could be a health crisis, struggling with business clarity, career indecision, underearning, a challenging relationship with a teen.
If we discover that the real issue is elsewhere, we adjust our focus. The goal is meaningful progress that makes a difference.
Yes. I coach gifted, twice exceptional, autistic clients and people with ADHD or sensitivities.
We’ll work together to tailor sessions so they work for your brain.
I consider myself part of the “neurocomplex” community.
Yes, many of my clients are men.
I’m a Certified Coach (The Life Coach School, 2021) with 800+ hours of experience with 1:1 coaching. I also bring decades of self-study, peer coaching, and a scientist’s eye for patterns.
Longer version (what actually shaped me):
- Formal training. Certified Life & Weight Loss Coach, The Life Coach School (2021). LivingWorks Suicide Prevention (2021). Ethics training (BC Association of Professional Biology).
- Ongoing practice. Four years of weekly coaching and mentoring; 800+ client hours across work, relationships, parenting, health, and midlife pivots.
- Self-education. I’ve been interested in personal development since my teens. Over the past few decades, my self-directed studies have included human development, differentiated education, relationship theory, positive psychology, neuroplasticity, and healthy aging.
- Peer coaching & community. 20+ years of written peer coaching and moderating in online communities (parenting, homeschooling, relationships, health).
- Scientist by training. BSc/MSc (Biology, McGill). 26 years as a Registered Professional Biologist taught me observation, analytic thinking, and intellectual rigour.
- Lived experience. Homeschooling; parenting gifted/ADHD kids; divorce, midlife dating, remarriage, and co-parenting; caregiving through dementia; childhood trauma, early loss, and tough seasons.
Stop anytime. I’ll refund any unused sessions (completed sessions aren’t refundable).
Prices are in USD by default. If you’re in Canada, ask for a CAD invoice and I’ll send a Canadian payment link.
